180 day 10+ strain WHOOP streak gone

After a really solid 6+ month streak of 10+ WHOOP strain goal, I got hit with a pretty serious illness that didn't just end the streak, it knocked me and my stats out for weeks.
The recovery has been a long haul, with some metrics and performance taking a dip for months.
What’s cool though, is that you can see how my body took the hit in my data.

Thanks to WHOOP, I knew I had to take recovery seriously, even after the original sickness symptoms subdued. With that clear picture of my body under some serious stress, fighting off whatever that bug was and then repairing the system. It's pretty wild to see it laid out so clearly.
It’s been a slow process getting back to feeling 100%, and a real lesson in prioritizing rest over just pushing through (yes, I've tried that in week 3 or 4 of recovery, didn't end well).
As much as it sucked to break the streak, it was a good reminder that longevity isn't just about performance. Sometimes you have to stop, rest, and actually let your body heal
I'm focused on getting back into a rhythm now, prepping for my first triathlon (olympic), later this year. And with that, I started designing my training and nutrition with LLMs and documenting a bit more on Notion. I'm still mostly on Huel (80% of calories), with some new supplements in the stack. I have done a somewhat deep analysis of my Micro, Macro and Minerals with Gemini, and it's been awesome!
